Eligibility
- Participants must be diagnosed with a intellectual and/or developmental disability (I/DD)
- Participants must in the age group 17 years old- 25 years old
- If you have concerns about your participant’s behavioral support needs, please contact Austin Unite and we will collaborate on a plan.
We understand that each person has a unique set of needs so if you are unsure of your child’s eligibility please email [email protected] with any questions or concerns.
Enrolling a Participant
After filling out this interest form our team will get back to you with an application that you can fill out which will then give you access to sign up for events!
Parents & Guardians
- Parents are not required to attend events, in fact we encourage them to not unless their child requires their support to attend. This is to promote independence and give you respite. If parents or siblings would like to join, you are responsible for making reservations separate from Austin Unite!
- If you plan to send a personal attendant with your child please email us [email protected]
- You must provide transportation to and from ALL Austin Unite events.
- Austin Unite is not responsible for loss or damage of any personal items.
- Parents must be available or have an emergency contact available during the event in case we need you to pick up your child early. This is a last resort and we hope to not bother you during your time off!
